Our Faculty: Their Process in Order to Teach
Our faculty goes through a series of processes in order to become a part of AEAS. This academy branches out to different groups of people to find as many unique individuals as possible. This is due to the fact that as every student is paired up to a teacher that is a perfect match. Our goal is to create an environment in which every student receives the proper education and attention they deserve in order to succeed here and later in life. AEAS consists of a one-to-one student to teacher ratio. However, some children my feel more comfortable with multiple students in their class with them and arrangements for this will be made.
Our staff begins by first completing multiple forms in which the AEAS board can learn about the individual. They are asked very specific questions and receive background checks. Once they have completed this step, they must have at least four years of experience with students like themselves before they can begin to work. They must be patient and diligent with the students. Teachers are evaluated almost monthly and if the student feels that he/she is not benefiting from their current teacher, they are given the option to be paired with another teacher. All of our teachers and staff are Ivy League graduates whom have all completed their PhD's.
